Lying, deceiving, cheating, white lies, misdirection, denial, betrayal, HYPOCRITES.

“Doesn’t matter what you do, all it takes for them to crucify you is as little as what they think you’ve done.”

False prophets, are they justified? Well, some are… they might do it to save their lives or the lives of the people they love.

Is there ever a way out, the truth is the way out but only if you’re willing to die for the truth, that’s bravery, bravery kills people, but it saves more people than it kills and that’s why we encourage it to our kids, I think.  Life is a mystery, what a wonderful world.

“The truth shall set you free, but first I’ll piss you off.” Doc Sharon, from Ted Lasso the TV show.

Speak your truth, what if my truth is everything around me, everything that’s been around me since I was young. Is it really a truth if it’s the only thing I know? Why does my truth even matter in the grand scheme of things? What shows that I’m not just a fool with a mouth trying to stand for something because I’m longing to belong to something? What makes the other side evil? I’m pretty sure if the normal person was nurtured on this side, they would have the same ‘truths’ as me. Why should I hate them when It’s not entirely their fault? The same way you see them is the same way they see you. We are willing to go to war because we want to belong, why? Is being a loner such a bad thing? What a wonderful world.

Belonging and standing for something is a good thing but to what extent are you willing to push it, please ask yourself. How sure are you that you’re not wrong? Winning an argument doesn’t mean you’re right.

People get crucified all the time for things they didn’t do, it doesn’t make it right. It’s so preposterous to me that all it takes to be crucified is for someone to think you’ve done something, or someone to think you are something. What a wonderful world.

I have a good example… I think it’s a good example as it pertains to me specifically, also includes some of my relatives to whom I won’t drop their names at all, I would like to keep their privacy intact. This story involves two families, both my relatives. I have cousins from the two families. Cousin A and cousin B, A from one family and B to the other. A borrowed an item from B, mind you they’re young, early teens. B misplaced the item. A went to his/her mother and told them about the misplaced item. A’s mother called B’s father and asked if the so-called item was found yet, the item was to be used in school the next day, that’s why she called B’s father. A’s mother talked to B’s father who said he would talk to his wife about the misplaced item and if it was lost, they would pay for it. Since the item was needed urgently by the next day, A’s mother went and bought a new item, same as the misplaced one. Later that day B’s father talked to his wife about the item.

This is where I come in, my suspicions are that their communication as a couple isn’t great. Most of us can attest to this because communication is something that has to be worked on in a relationship.

I brought up communication because B’s mother had to say this after her husband talked to her about the misplaced item, “How can you ask your own family to pay you back on something so small.” That is not what A’s mother said at all. B’s father had offered to pay if the item was lost, all that A’s mother did was agree to what was proposed to her by B’s father.

At that point, it didn’t matter what A’s mother really said. All that mattered is what the rest of my family thought she said. With that, other relatives were all against A’s mother and they were not willing to listen to her story, they already had their minds made up. I had to come in between and urge them to listen to her side and after that, the issue was resolved with a phone call.

All they had to do is to stop judging A’s mother for what they thought she had done, all they had to do is ask her what she had done, they had to listen to both sides of the story… If the story was all over the place please pardon me, I’m still working on my storytelling skills.

This story got me thinking of history and what we know about it, it all depends on which side told the story. Too bad only the powerful and the rich had the means and the power to tell their side of the story back in the day. I would have loved to have read both sides of the stories and decided for myself whether these so-called great kings and queens were really great. What a wonderful world.
