I love making art, and literature also crept onto my list of favorite things. Making art and writing give me meaning and comfort. Of course, there are other things in my life that I find meaningful, but these two stick out more since they are the ones that I decided to share with the world. They are comforting because I can communicate what I am thinking.

I have always loved drawing and coming up with stories. My earliest memories of making art were when I was around six years old, and those of writing my own stories were when I was eleven years old. I wrote my first ever silly comic book, called Captain Skarlet. Then life happened and I took some time off from writing and drawing.

A few years later, I decided to get back into making art and writing. Creating gives me a purpose; that hole of fulfillment is being filled as the days go by, and that feels great. For the first time as an adult, I feel like my life has a purpose, as cliche as that sounds. Considering where I come from, I am proud of who I am becoming. Through thick and thin, I hope I keep this mindset and never give up, and who knows, maybe someday I can live off my sweat and tears.

I go by Sakuan.
