Just so you remember they say Jesus died for our sins
Just so you remember they say Satan is bad for us
Just so you remember Mama still living in the projects
Just so you remember you are the one who needs to get here out of the projects
Just so you remember school is mandatory in this society
Just so you remember the good things in life are always hard to come by
Just so you remember the party goes on after you leave
Just so you remember money is power and money is influence
Just so you remember your right isn’t my right
Just so you remember your wrong is most definitely not my wrong
Just so you remember kids walk around with guns shooting up schools
Just so you remember your God isn’t my God and my God isn’t your God
Just so you remember what I have on me and with me might be nothing but a facade
Just so you remember a debate doesn’t always change the situation
Just so you remember nobody owes you anything in life
Just so you remember life is hard
Just so you remember in spite of life being hard you are expected to leave it better than you found it, ain’t t that something
Just so you remember perspective is the most important thing in life today, it has been since the beginning of time
Just so you remember you might be crazy but the world doesn’t care about that it’s got its own problems
Just so you remember your choices matter, every single one of them, from brushing your teeth to saying yes to a stranger who asked you out on a date
Just so you remember I like what I like and you like what you like and that’s okay
Just so you remember everything you do in life matters, you matter.
